Jan Dugan opened ONE DOG DAY in 2003 when she moved to The White Mountains and realized that the many tourist who visit the area have few options to daycare their dogs as they kayak, bike or visit the many attractions offered in the area. Before moving to New Hampshire, Jan was involved in doggie daycare as an assistant at one of the largest doggie daycare facilities in the San Francisco valley where she began acquiring her knowledge of dog behavior and training.
We want to make sure that every dog who visits ONE DOG DAY, enjoys a stress-free holiday of their own and to that end, Jan is continually expanding her education in everything 'dog'.
